The World War II is a very painful memory for those people who remember it – the violence, the bloodshed, the not-present human rights that allowed armies to carry out the most vile atrocities mankind has ever seen.

Hugo Jaeger is the former personal photographer of Adolf Hitler. He travelled with Hitler in the years leading up to and throughout World War II and took around 2,000 colour photographs of the Austrian-born German politician.

He is one of the very few people who were using colored films back in those days and here are some colored photographs – World War II as seen never before…These images were sold to TIMES after being hidden for more than 50 years. Find them on:
